one studio, three disciplines.
BloxDot opened in 2023 as a Lahore practice for clients who wanted one team to handle architecture, interiors, and construction together. The premise was simple. Most projects in Pakistan fail at the seams between disciplines, where the architect hands off to the contractor and design intent goes missing. We close that seam by keeping the same team across all three.
We draw the project. We run the build. We supervise execution when clients use their own contractors. We design furniture and oversee fabrication through trusted Lahore partners. The work travels from sketch to keys without leaving our hands.
BloxDot is a practice within the HybridDot group. The connection gives us the operational backing of a parent organization while the day-to-day work happens at studio scale. Our public face is the studio and the principal who leads it.

Sohaib leads design across every BloxDot project, from concept through construction documents. He runs the brief, sets the direction, and reviews every drawing before it leaves the studio. On residential and larger commercial work, he leads design personally. On smaller interior projects, he reviews concept and approves detailed design before anything moves to build. Clients work with the principal from sign-on to handover, not with a junior team handed the project after the contract is signed.

Beyond the principal, every project goes through a studio manager who keeps drawings, schedules, and site communication aligned. Smaller teams of architects, draftsmen, and visualizers support specific phases. The two people clients work with directly across every project are listed below.

the principal draws every project
The architect who takes the brief is the architect who reviews the final drawing set. No project is sold by the senior and executed by the junior team. Sohaib is involved on every BloxDot project from sign-on to handover.
design and execution belong on the same contract
Most cost overruns and quality failures happen at the seam between design and execution. We remove the seam by offering both as core services under one contract for clients who want it. Clients who prefer to work with their own contractor get supervision instead, with the architect who drew the project watching the build.
what is in the BOQ is what gets built
The bill of quantities is a contract document, not a verbal estimate. Every material, brand, grade, and finish is specified in writing before construction begins. Substitutions require client approval. There are no mid-project surprises in our billing.
handover is when the punch list closes
We do not call a project complete when the client moves in. We call it complete when every flagged item is resolved, every defect is corrected, and the warranty documents are in the client's hands. The defects liability period runs after that.

The studio and operations are based in DHA Phase 6, Lahore. We take projects across Pakistan and travel for work in the Gulf. Site visits are scheduled around project milestones, which keeps travel proportionate to the scope.
