01 · The brief

commercial fitout for our sister agency.

HybridDot Creative is a Lahore-based creative agency and the parent practice that opened BloxDot in 2023. When HybridDot needed an office that reflected its own work, the build came home to the studio it founded. The fitout covers an open floor for cross-functional teams, focused work nooks, and meeting rooms that flex between pitch and production.

BloxDot ran the build under one contract, shell to handover. Drawings, finishes, joinery, and execution all from the same team. A short-loop project where design intent and site execution sat in the same conversation throughout.

03 · The story

an office for the agency that started us.

The brief was unusual because the client knew the studio better than most. HybridDot watches BloxDot work every week, so the conversation moved past first-principles fast. The plan emphasises informal cross-team interaction without sacrificing the focus required for design and writing work.

The fitout uses a quiet material palette: warm wood, soft plaster, brass detailing, and acoustic surfaces where they matter. No graphic loudness; the brand surfaces in proportion, finish quality, and how the rooms behave under different uses.

Running the build under one contract meant decisions about layout, materials, and lighting were resolved in one room. The result is an office that does its job quietly, and a working example of what design-build looks like when both sides know what they want.
